Angarano books 'English Teacher'

After romancing Uma Thurman in "Ceremony," Michael Angarano is dealing with another indie comedy's youthful romantic lead, as he's set to star opposite Julianne Moore in Craig Zisk's "The British Teacher."Artina Films is creating the pic, which compiled by Serta and Stacy Chariton.Moore stars like a senior high school British teacher whose existence is upended whenever a former student returns to her small town after failing like a playwright in NY. Angarano will have the sensitive scribe, who the protag finds herself falling for.Nathan Lane co-stars within the pic, that is being created by Artina's Naomi Despres, Robert Salerno and Matthew Chausse, in addition to Ben LeClair. Ron Curtis is professional creating and Kim Fox of Inferno Entertainment is handling worldwide sales.Angarano, who lately wrapped the Juno Temple-brought indie "The Brass Teapot," next stars in Steven Soderbergh's "Haywire."
